Castellamare is a commercial harbour 3,5 nm in the
SSE of Torre Annunziata, coming from Naples you can find it on the beginning of
the Sorrento penisula. Landmarks are the shipyard and the Faito mountain, 1100 m
high. When you enter the harbour you have Fl.G.5s12m8M and 2F.R.8m3M. After
entering the harbour you should go straight ahead on the right side almost to
the end of the mole, Porto Salvo is a small harbour basin, before entering you
should contact your contact person, moorings in front of the swimming iron boat
“Cafè do mar”, restaurant and bar. Electricity, water, when you go out of the
marina you will see a lot of Chalets where you can taste the typical local fish
kitchen, ask for paste e fagioli con le cozze (pasta with beans and mussels).
Directly from the fountain you can drink fresh mineral water, very close to the
marina you will find everything for bunkering, restaurants, pizzerias etc.
